At a height of 8450 Ft. from the sea level, Solang Valley is situated near to Manali ( 14 Km ) to the Northwest, at the top of Kullu Valley. During the winter season, the giant slopes with snow are apt and ready for skiing. There are a few institutes which provide training in Skiing. From May onwards, that is, when the summer starts, the snow melts and the green lawn appear on the giant slopes.
